My posing flow is baby-led, meaning I work gently around your little one’s comfort and natural movements. If baby needs a break for feeding or snuggles, that’s totally fine. I never rush sessions.

It always makes me smile when parents say, “We can’t believe how quick the drive was!” Gilmer is just a short distance from both Longview (about 25 minutes) and Tyler (around 35–45 minutes), and most families say it was absolutely worth it.

The studio is tucked away on our little piece of land, surrounded by peaceful East Texas scenery. It’s quiet here no busy shopping centers or city noise which helps create that calm environment newborns love.

I’ve even had families tell me that the drive itself helped their baby fall asleep before the session a total win! 🚗💤After moving from my prior location I had a returning client drive THREE hours with their newborn and toddler for me to photograph their growing family. That was one of the biggest compliments I could have received.

Every session is unique because every baby is unique. Whether you love soft neutrals, a hint of color, or classic fine art style, I design each setup around your preferences.

Before your session, I’ll touch base to get some feedback on your color and prop preferences. I’ll also ask about your baby’s due date, so we can plan around those precious first two weeks when they’re sleepiest.

And after your session, I personally hand-edit each image to create that warm, dreamy look New Joy Photography is known for.
