We recommend booking your newborn session during your second trimester, ideally between 20-28 weeks pregnant. Newborn sessions are best done within the first 5-14 days after birth when babies sleep most deeply and are most flexible for posing.

What should I bring to my newborn session?

Please bring any special heirlooms or sentimental items you would like included in photos. We provide all studio props, wraps, and outfits. Also bring extra diapers, feeding supplies, and a pacifier if your baby uses one.

Do you offer maternity photography sessions?

Yes! New Joy Photography offers beautiful maternity sessions to celebrate your pregnancy. Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 28-36 weeks for the most flattering results.
